purchase of your gift certificates without the need for
an e-commerce based web site.

fees. You are only charged a 10% marketing
fee on the face value of any certificates we sell.
You'll never pay anything until we generate you
results.
How does the
LocalCertificates.com Local Merchant Program work?
After a gift certificate order for your
business comes in we will call your office to pay for
the certificate (upfront less 10% fee) and obtain an
authorization code provided only by you. You
simply void out your copy for record keeping and
verification. This code is added to the
certificate that will be mailed to the recieptient.
When the customer redeems the certificate you can simply
verify the information with your records.
Each certificate has several built-in security
measures. The first is an authorization code
provided by the merchant. Next is an authorization
number & signature provided by
LocalCertificates.com. Finally our embossed logo
or holographic sticker on the face of the
certificate. Do not accept
the certificate if any of these items are missing and
contact us right away.
What if someone comes in with a
LocalCertificates.com Gift Certificate for a dollar amount that doesn't match the price
of our services?
We only offer certificate
amounts in the most popular increments ($25.00, $50.00
& $100.00) If the certificate is for too little money, simply charge the customer the difference at the time the services are rendered.
There is no commission on this additional payment. If
the certificate is for too much money, most Businesses issue one of their own gift certificates good only at their
Business, for the balance.
Can I still continue with my own gift certificate program?
Absolutely!
You are free to continue selling your certificates both on
and offline at your location. The LocalCertificates.com service
will not disrupt those channels, but work in addition to
help bring new customers to your business. Our primary
goal is to serve purchases from out-of-town friends & relatives or from people who may
or may not know the recipient's favorite local business.
If you currently do not
offer gift certificates on your web site,
LocalCertificates.com can help by providing a simple
software code to add to your web site. This will allow
your customers to purchase your gift certificates online
with out having to create an e-commerce web site.
