Is there a limit to how many gift certificates I can purchase?
There is no limit in how many different gift certificates you can purchase. However, our goal is to attract new customers to different local businesses. To protect this agreement with our business partners, an individual may only purchase an identical gift certificate once per 90-day window, and three times ever.

How do I pay for my certificate(s)?
We accept both credit card and Paypal to process our payments. By using online payments, we are abe to make certificates available immediately upon payment.

Do I need to create an account?
Yes, an account is required to purchase certificates. By registering with Local Certificates, you have the ability to track and print all of your gift certificates from your account, name your own price by placing a bid on a gift certificate and save even more (available with most certificates), and be included in membership promotions from time to time. There is no cost to register, and there are many benefits for doing so, so sign up today!

When will the certificate(s) expire?
Each of our certificates is automatically set to expire 60 days after you purchase them. However, there are a few cases when there will be a different expiration date from the standard 60 days, which will be stated in the Disclaimers for that certificate (for example, some certificates may say 'No expiration' in the Disclaimers section).

Where did you get these gift certificates?
People are often skeptical of such substantial savings, so let us explain how it works. We partner with a variety of local businesses as an advertising service to attract new customers.  According to each business’s agreement, we sell gift certificates specifically tailored to each store in order to allow locals to enjoy exploring nearby businesses without spending a lot of money. So, it's a win-win for both of you; you save money visiting local businesses and they get to show you what they do best!

I received a promotional coupon. How do I use it?
In order to use a coupon, you will need to add at least one certificate to your cart, and proceed to checkout.  In the checkout process, there will be an opportunity to enter your coupon code. Please note that any promotional coupons are for one-time use only, and must be used before their expiration date.
